Thanks to Gloria Verdeau, Molly Lisowsky, Alan Garner, Professor Lisa Covington, Theresa Fox, Rajiv Rebello, Razhae Shepard, Christine Pontecorvo, and Malcolm X Library for helping make the Jihmye Collins Memorial Tutoring a success in 2012 & 2013.
We were a free program being of service to the Valencia Park community in the memory of our hero, the late Jihmye Collins, poet, painter, warrior of peace.

In Memoriam of Jihmye Collins and his work with the youth of our communities we started a free Homework Help Program at Malcolm X Library on the corner of Euclid and Market Streets every Monday at 4:30 P.M. The City Library system has now taken charge of the program.
If you are wanting to be of service please call the library to inquire about elementary, middle school, and high school students who are need assistance making sense of their schoolwork. The main requirement for tutoring in our program is to be able to convey
encouragement & cultural respect.
